The home page is your personal dashboard in OKRnest. It gives you an at-a-glance view of what needs your attention, how your teams are progressing, and what's been happening recently.
Tabs
The home page has two tabs:
- Home: The overview dashboard described below
- Update OKR progress: A personal view of all key results assigned to you, where you can update progress across teams without navigating to each team individually
Today (recommended actions)
The Today section at the top of the dashboard shows action cards based on your current situation. These are contextual prompts that help you stay on top of your OKRs:
- Invite users: Shown to admins and owners, with a button to open the invite dialog
- Join a team: Shown if you're not a member of any team yet
- Create new OKRs: Shown for each of your teams that doesn't have OKRs for the current cycle, with a direct link to the Create tab
- Update your Key Results: Shown when you have key results that are due or past due for an update, based on your team's update cadence
Each card can be dismissed by clicking the × button. Dismissed cards are remembered across sessions. If you want to see them again, click Show all next to the Today heading.
Your teams
Below the Today section, the Your teams area shows a card for each team you belong to. Each team card displays:
- Team name and current cycle: So you know which period you're looking at
- Progress bar: The team's average OKR completion compared to how far through the cycle you are
- Team members: Avatars of the people in the team
- Quick links: Buttons to jump directly to the team's Update, Status, or Check-ins tab
If a team has no published OKRs for the current cycle, the card shows a Create OKRs button instead of the progress bar.
Recent activity
The right column of the dashboard shows a Recent Activity feed with updates from all teams you're a member of. This includes OKR progress updates, check-in submissions, new objectives, and status changes. The most recent activity appears at the top.
Welcome header
On desktop, the top of the page shows a welcome message with your name and avatar. On mobile, the header shows the OKRnest logo along with quick-access buttons for feedback, help, and your profile.
