The home page is your personal start page in OKRnest. It gives you an at-a-glance view of what needs your attention, how your teams are progressing, and what's been happening recently.

Welcome header

On desktop, the top of the page greets you with Welcome, {your first name} next to your avatar. If you haven't added a profile photo yet, clicking the avatar opens the photo upload dialog; otherwise it opens your profile. On mobile, the header shows the OKRnest logo with quick-access buttons for feedback, the Help Center, your organisation, and your profile.

Today (suggestions)

The Today section at the top shows suggestion cards based on your current situation. These are contextual prompts that help you stay on top of your OKRs:

• Invite users: Shown to admins and owners, with an Invite button that opens the invite dialog
• Join a team: Shown if you're not a member of any team yet. Admins and owners get a Browse Teams button; other users are asked to contact an admin
• Create new OKRs: Shown for each of your teams that has no OKRs for the current cycle, with a Create OKRs button that opens the team's Create tab
• Update Key Results today and Update your Key Results: Shown when you own key results that are due today or overdue for an update, based on your team's check-in cadence, with an Update Now button that opens Update Progress

Each card can be dismissed with the × button. Dismissed cards are remembered across sessions. To see them again, click Show all next to the Today heading. When nothing needs your attention, the section reads No recommended actions today.

On mobile, a Your actions shortcut appears below the Today section when the Actions feature is enabled.

Your teams

The Your teams area shows a card for each team you belong to. Each card displays:

• Team name and current cycle, so you know which period you're looking at
• Progress bar: The team's overall OKR progress for the cycle
• Members: Avatars of the people in the team and the member count
• Quick links: Buttons to jump directly to the team's Update, Status, or Check-ins section

If a team has no published OKRs for the current cycle, the card reads No published OKRs this cycle. with a Create OKRs button. If the cycle is archived, the card offers View status instead.

Below the team cards, a Make OKRnest better! We'd love your feedback button opens the feedback dialog.

Recent activity

The right column shows the Recent activity feed with updates from all teams you're a member of. The most recent activity appears at the top, and Show more loads older entries. See Recent Activity for details.

Setting up a new organisation

When your organisation has no teams yet, the home page shows Create Your First Team instead of the sections above. Enter a team name, choose a cycle length and check-in cadence, optionally add members, and click Create Team. See the Quick Start Guide.
