The General section under Admin Settings defines organisation-wide defaults that affect how OKRnest looks and how numeric key results display for every team.
Open Settings from the sidebar (desktop) or Admin Settings from the mobile settings menu. You need Admin or Owner access.
The section is titled General, with the subtitle Configure your organisation settings and preferences.

Organisation name
The Organisation name field is the workspace name shown in the organisation selector and across the product. Update it when your company rebrands or when a division workspace needs a clearer label.
Organisation currency
Organisation currency sets the symbol and formatting for Currency type key results everywhere in this organisation. Choose the currency that matches how your company reports financial metrics.
Changing currency does not convert existing numeric values; it changes display only.
Brand colour
Brand colour controls the primary accent colour for your organisation in the UI. Use the colour picker; helper text reads Choose a colour to represent your organisation. A hex value is shown for precision.
If you do not set a colour, OKRnest uses the default green (#2a7e3b).
Marketing emails audience
Marketing emails audience controls which members receive non-transactional product email from OKRnest (updates, tips, and similar). Options:
- All members (default for new organisations)
- Admins and Owner only
- Owner only
Transactional email (invitations, ownership transfers, check-in reports, and similar) is always sent regardless of this setting. Each member can also opt out personally from their profile.
For full detail, see Marketing Emails Audience.
Saving changes
Click Save changes at the bottom. On success the button briefly shows Changes saved (about three seconds).
You can update name, currency, brand colour, and marketing audience in one save when multiple fields changed.
Other admin sections
From the same Admin Settings area you can open:
- Features (enable optional modules such as alignment, actions, or AI)
- Security (organisation MFA policy)
- Users (invites and membership)
- OKR Settings (traffic-light thresholds, custom cycle templates)
- Subscription (Owners with billing access)
Tips
- Set currency before the first financial KR: Avoid confusion if teams already entered values assuming another symbol
- Brand colour for white-label feel: Match your internal tools so OKRnest feels native in all-hands decks
- Restrict marketing audience in regulated industries: Owner-only or admin-only audiences reduce outbound mail to end users
