Your avatar is the small circular icon that represents you throughout OKRnest, on key results you own, in the activity feed, on team rosters, and more. By default it shows your initials on your chosen avatar colour. You can replace this with a photo of yourself.
Uploading a photo
- Go to your profile from the Settings menu.
- In the Personal information card, hover over your avatar and click the camera icon.
- Choose a photo from your device.
- Drag to reposition and use the zoom slider to frame yourself, then click Save.
Your photo is automatically cropped to a square and resized, so it looks consistent everywhere it appears. Once saved, it replaces your colour and initials in all parts of the app.
Replacing or removing your photo
Open the same dialog at any time to upload a different photo. To go back to your colour and initials, open the dialog and choose Remove photo.
A note on privacy
Profile photos are served from a public web address so they can load quickly wherever they appear. The address is long and randomly generated, so it cannot be guessed, and a fresh one is created every time you change your photo. It is not listed or searchable anywhere.
That said, because the address is public rather than tied to your account login, anyone who is given the exact link could view the image.
